Jannik Sinner doesn’t rely on magic formulas to win. His game is built on effort, consistency, and a mindset that doesn’t crack. After claiming the Paris Masters title with a commanding win over Felix Auger-Aliassime, the Italian made it clear that his rise in the circuit isn’t random. “There’s no magic. It’s just a lot of hard work,” he said at the press conference, as reported by Firstsportz.

Following his loss in the US Open final to Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner set out to become unpredictable. And he’s delivered. Over the past two months, he’s lifted trophies at the China Open, Vienna Open, the Six Kings Slam (where he beat Alcaraz), and now the Paris Masters. That’s five titles in nine finals this season, including three at the Masters 1000 level.

Victory and ranking boost

In Paris, Jannik Sinner didn’t just beat Auger-Aliassime—he also knocked out defending champion Alexander Zverev in the semifinals. With this win, he improves his head-to-head record against Felix to 3-2 and adds a fifth Masters 1000 title to his career. His last one came in Shanghai 2024, after falling short in Rome and Cincinnati, both times against Alcaraz.

This victory also helped Jannik Sinner reclaim the world No. 1 ranking, although he currently sits second in the live standings due to the 1500 points he must defend at the ATP Finals. Last year, he won the season-ending tournament without dropping a match. Now, he returns as the reigning champion.

Next challenge

“It was a very intense final, and we both knew what was at stake. I’m really happy—the last two months have been incredible,” Jannik Sinner said during the trophy ceremony. His next challenge is the ATP Finals, starting November 18, where he’ll face Alcaraz, Zverev, Ben Shelton, Fritz, and Alex de Minaur. Djokovic also qualified, but his participation remains uncertain.

Jannik Sinner is no longer just a rising star—he’s a true contender. His tennis may not rely on tricks, but it follows a clear formula: hard work, growth, and character. And with each title, he moves closer to becoming the new ruler of the tour.
