Tom Brady wrapped up his first year in the Fox Sports broadcast booth by calling the biggest game of the season: Super Bowl LIX, the NFL final between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, with the football season over, he has decided to explore new activities during the offseason.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has always been known for his versatility. However, his latest venture into a completely different sport caught the attention of his colleague Erin Andrews.

Ahead of the NHL 4 Nations Championship game between the United States and Canada, Brady took to Instagram to post a reel in support of Team USA. The clip shows Brady attempting to demonstrate his skills in hockey and ice skating. His caption read: “HERE WE GO! 🇺🇸 🦅”, expressing his enthusiasm for the sport. However, Erin Andrews quickly reacted to the video, playfully suggesting that Brady was ‘out of his league.’

As a FOX Sports commentator, Andrews has extensive knowledge of hockey. Her connection to the sport runs deeper, as her husband, Jarret Stoll, played 13 seasons in the NHL as a center. Stoll began his professional career in 2002 with the Edmonton Oilers, where he spent five seasons. Later, in 2008, he joined the Los Angeles Kings and won two Stanley Cups. Today, he works in player development for the Kings.

Andrews and Stoll met in 2012 and got engaged in 2016. They tied the knot in Big Sky, Montana, and in 2023, they welcomed their son, Mack Roger Stoll.

Tom Brady’s unexpected hockey skills may not have impressed everyone, but they certainly sparked curiosity and laughter among his colleagues and fans.
