That outcome seems unlikely, since tension still defines the relationship between the sisters-in-law. In fact, according to The Express, a source revealed that Kate refuses to reconcile with Meghan unless she meets a specific demand.
A never-ending dispute
Prince Harry described the argument between Middleton and Meghan in his 2023 memoir. So, what could repair their relationship? According to the same source, only a sincere apology from Meghan to Kate could ease the tension.

The source said, “Kate made it clear that Meghan must offer a very genuine apology, and she wants several witnesses present if they ever speak again. However, Meghan has no intention of traveling to the UK to talk to Kate. She’s focusing on more important matters and believes Kate should be the one to extend the olive branch.”
The source also added, “If Harry and Charles reconcile, then people will expect Kate and Meghan to do the same. There’s no point in solving the family conflict if they refuse to cooperate. But the situation is already creating a major headache, since neither Kate nor Meghan seems interested in reconciling. Kate has firmly decided to stay out of it, believing she’s already endured enough. Meanwhile, Meghan has moved on from royal drama and sees no reason to go back.”
In a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan said that Kate made her cry during a disagreement over Princess Charlotte’s dress for her wedding to Harry in 2018. She also claimed that the Royal Family told her not to respond to false reports.
