Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather share a long history of heated clashes. They often provoke each other outside the ring. This time, Paul tried to ridicule Mayweather by targeting his luxurious lifestyle showcased on social media.

It’s no secret that boxing is one of the most profitable combat sports in the world. Fighters who build a name can amass vast fortunes from their bouts. Mayweather, a boxing legend, has built an extravagant lifestyle. Paul seems eager to follow in his footsteps and made sure to prove it.

Paul seeks fresh controversy with Mayweather

According to Firstsportz, Jake Paul recently compared his wealth with that of former boxing champions. He has earned money through a mixed record of fights against legends like Anderson Silva, Julio César Chávez Jr., and Mike Tyson, as well as retired UFC fighters. Beyond the ring, his massive social media following also fuels his income.

Paul’s net worth is estimated at $100 million as of 2025, coming from boxing, sponsorships, and business ventures. By contrast, Mayweather holds an undefeated 50-0 record, which has allowed him to build immense wealth. He continues to earn millions from exhibition fights against names like John Gotti III, Mikuru Asakura, and Don Moore.

Recently, Mayweather added a Gulfstream III private jet nicknamed “Air Mayweather 2” to his collection, after already owning a Gulfstream G650 dubbed “The Money Team.” Paul mocked him for it, boasting about his own newly purchased Bombardier Global Express.

On Instagram, the influencer posted a video saying: “Floyd, I thought you had a big jet, six windows? Try fourteen.” With that, he attempted to humiliate the undefeated champion.

This may reignite the long-standing feud between the two fighters. Still, comparing their lifestyles seems absurd. One is an undefeated boxing icon; the other thrives on drawing attention and shaking up boxing’s traditional hierarchies. Different paths, yet both remain at the center of today’s combat sports conversation.
