Jake Paul actively challenges the historic inequality in women’s boxing. For generations, the sport sidelined female athletes, denying them both recognition and fair pay. However, Paul has stepped in to change that narrative through action, not just words.
The fighter-turned-promoter focuses on results. To strengthen women’s boxing, he invests directly in the careers of skilled and driven boxers, giving them the visibility and support they long lacked.
Amanda Serrano: A Champion with Paul’s Full Backing
Jake Paul placed one of his boldest bets on Amanda Serrano, a seven-division world champion. He first saw her on the undercard of his professional debut and immediately realized her potential. “I hadn’t even heard of her, which was crazy,” Paul admitted. That moment marked the start of a powerful collaboration.

Now, Serrano is set for her third blockbuster bout against Katie Taylor, the lightweight world champion, on July 11 at Madison Square Garden. Paul’s MVP Promotions is co-promoting the fight with Matchroom Boxing—a partnership that has already transformed Serrano’s career.
Paul explained how shocked he was to learn that Serrano once fought in obscure gyms, earning just $1,000 or $2,000 per match. He decided to change that reality. In September 2021, Serrano signed with MVP. Since then, she earned $350,000 against Daniela Romina Bermúdez, $400,000 versus Yamileth Mercado, and a record $1 million in her 2022 fight with Taylor.
Together with MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian, Paul continues to revolutionize the sport. “We believed Amanda was a true trailblazer—and if we supported her properly, the impact would be real,” said Bidarian.
Indeed, Jake Paul didn’t hold back. He offered $5 million deals, secured film opportunities, and pushed for mainstream recognition. “He thought we were crazy,” Bidarian added, “but now women’s boxing is finally getting the spotlight it deserves.”
