Angel Reese honors her roots with Reebok and sets sights on Team USA

The Chicago Sky forward, Angel Reese, continues to prove that her influence goes far beyond the court. The player chose to honor her Baltimore roots through a special collaboration with Reebok. The announcement aims to empower the next generation of female athletes while reinforcing her role as a cultural and sporting icon.

According to Essentiallysports, the Reese Foundation partnered with Reebok to support the girls’ basketball team at Saint Frances Academy, her alma mater. The Panthers will receive Angel Reese 1 sneakers, customized Reebok gear, warm-up outfits, and performance jerseys ahead of their season opener on November 25, 2025. Angel Reese emphasized that giving back to the community that shaped her is a special step in her career, and that her mission has always been to empower young athletes.

A gesture toward her community

Saint Frances head coach Nytearia Burrell praised the initiative, noting that having the support of Angel Reese and Reebok is an honor and a source of inspiration for her players.

The collaboration also includes the first signature shoe by Angel Reese, released in September 2025 and sold out within hours. The model, available in three colorways, featured advanced technology such as an exoskeleton upper, a TPU stability cup, and Reebok’s ERS energy return system. This commercial success confirmed Reese’s appeal as a figure capable of connecting with both the market and fans.

Since 2023, the Reese Foundation has promoted scholarships, basketball camps, and community programs in cities like Baltimore, Chicago, and Baton Rouge. The impact of Reese is not limited to the WNBA. The forward was called up to the national Team USA training camp, scheduled for December 12–14, 2025, under head coach Kara Lawson.
