The tension between Draymond Green and Santi Aldama continues to grow. The Warriors forward didn’t hold back his anger after the incident in the game against the Grizzlies, where he received a flagrant foul type 1 for hitting the Spanish player. The physical contact was an unsportsmanlike act that referees punished immediately. However, Green’s harshest blow came after the game—on his own podcast, where he launched a verbal attack against Aldama.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Draymond Green furiously said, “He’s a guy who’s always talking… What I don’t like are guys who act like they want to argue and then fall down as if they’ve been knocked out.” Green accused Aldama of flopping and called him a “clown.”
The incident happened when Aldama fell to the floor after contact with Green. The Golden State star mocked the fall, imitating Aldama’s movement, which triggered laughter among fans. Now, their personal feud has become more public than ever.
“You sold your soul for two free throws”
Green went even further, adding: “I just disagree with guys who fake like that, because even if you get the foul—like he did, the flagrant 1—fine, cool. You get the ball back, two free throws, whatever. It’s like you sold your soul for two free throws. You just rolled around like you were dead, only to get up, walk to the bench, and then to the free-throw line.”
🤡 🤡 🤡 Selling fouls might get you free throws… but it won’t get you respect.

The Warriors veteran also said Aldama lost all respect after the incident and blamed him for listening to the wrong advice. “You lose all respect, so now you’re a fool. And we can’t unsee that, because you just acted like a complete clown, following some dumb coach telling you, ‘If he fouls you, flop.’ But now you have to keep playing while everyone looks at you like a fool.”
Aldama has not publicly responded, but the Grizzlies have circled their next game against the Warriors as a heated matchup. The NBA may step in if tensions keep rising.
Draymond Green, known for his fiery temperament, once again proved he never avoids controversy. His track record against European players and his on-court behavior continue to make him one of the league’s most polarizing figures.
