Travis Kelce isn’t just making headlines for his plays in the NFL. He’s also proving he knows how to connect with audiences off the field. Alongside his brother Jason Kelce, the former Eagles lineman, he turned New Heights into a cultural phenomenon. Now, the podcast is making the leap to Amazon Prime after a massive deal. The tipping point? Taylor Swift. Her appearance on the show to reveal the name and cover of her upcoming album triggered a wave of views that temporarily crashed YouTube.

What started as a casual conversation between brothers about football and everyday life has evolved into one of the most influential sports podcasts out there. According to Marca, the episode featuring Taylor Swift reached 1.3 million concurrent views. That moment marked a turning point for New Heights. The media buzz, combined with the charisma of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, transformed the show into a platform that goes far beyond sports.

A lucrative deal

The original agreement with Wondery, signed in August 2024 for $100 million, was absorbed by Amazon after the production company dissolved. Now, New Heights will stream directly on Amazon Prime, joining other projects like LeBron James’ Mind the Game. Despite the shift, episodes will remain available on YouTube and major podcast platforms, ensuring Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce maintain their massive reach.

While Travis Kelce navigates a rocky season with the Kansas City Chiefs—including a costly drop in the loss to the Eagles—his media career continues to rise. Jason Kelce, now retired, has found a new rhythm behind the mic. New Heights currently ranks fifth among sports podcasts on Apple Podcasts and holds the 74th spot overall, proving its impact stretches well beyond the gridiron.

The formula works. It’s not complicated: brotherly banter, viral moments, and a genuine connection with listeners. With Amazon backing them, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce are ready to take their show to even greater heights. In a sport where storytelling matters as much as touchdowns, the Kelce brothers are showing they know how to win with a microphone too. And if Taylor Swift drops by again, the servers better be ready.
