Stephen Curry is one of the NBA’s favorite basketball players for many fans. He is a shooter whose performance has taken him to the top of the league with the Golden State Warriors. He is humble and enjoys a quiet family life, despite his fame and that of his wife, Ayesha Curry. Recently, he stepped up to defend her when rapper Killer Mike mentioned her.

Ayesha became a celebrity, attending major events, signing deals with top brands, and traveling frequently. As expected, fame has also brought its downsides, like the one her husband recently faced, which he handled intelligently, in true Curry style.

Curry’s response left no doubts

According to Firstsportz, TikToker Bookie Woodz made a strong criticism of Stephen Curry’s wife and mother of their four children. Woodz claimed that she doesn’t care about attracting men and accused her of being jealous of the attention her husband receives.

Rapper Killer Mike then intervened, commenting: “My [expletive] said she wanted to go be glo!! Man Steph doesn’t deserve the shame frfr. God bless him.” In other words, he agreed with Woodz’s statement while claiming that she was embarrassing Curry.

However, the Warriors player did not stay silent and replied: “Killer Mike naaaaa, not you Mike. I’m fine staying quiet and letting these other clowns have their moment! And you are the worst of them, Bookie Woodz. But you are better than that Killer Mike. Stay in your lane and let God continue blessing me as He does. We’re all good here.”

This conversation did not go public initially, but The Shade Room shared screenshots. Curry also emphasized to Mike not to be fooled by what TikTok influencers post. After all, they are only trying to increase their earnings by posting whatever comes to mind.
