LeBron James is using the NBA offseason to prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 season. At the same time, he has spent time on his other passion: golf, which has become a favorite hobby for the 40-year-old star. That didn’t go unnoticed, and recently, Hollywood actor Kevin Hart publicly called out James.

On his official Instagram account, Hart revealed that he has also started playing golf. But he didn’t stop there—he ended his post with a bold challenge to the Lakers’ star.

A tough challenge for James

According to Athlonsports, Kevin Hart went all-in by writing:
“Kev the Golfer is loading right now… Please be patient with me during this process… But [expletive] I’m coming for you [expletive]!!!!! @kingjames … I’m publicly challenging you to 18 holes in one year… Next September 17… I’ll let the world watch me kick your [expletive]!!!!!! The King of the Court didn’t take long to answer the actor’s post. James showed excitement about the challenge and refused to wait 12 months. He wrote in his Instagram stories:
“Why do we have to wait a whole year? We can do it now! And in a year too!… Say it with your chest. And leave that [expletive] cut-off at home too!”

James also stressed that both are golf rookies, so they stand on equal ground. However, he admitted he has a few months’ head start. Still, the comedian might quickly catch up, as Hart is known for his relentless drive.
