Kayla Nicole, who dated Travis Kelce on and off between 2017 and 2022, made headlines again. This time, the news had nothing to do with the Chiefs tight end, although many social media users linked her behavior to an attempt to spark jealousy in Kelce.

In reality, the public spotlight took a heavy toll on Nicole. She now wants to move on from her past, especially after facing overwhelming online hate.

A dance that didn’t go as planned

According to The Sports Rush, the public is now focused on Kayla Nicole. The attention came after a moment she shared with Chris Brown in Los Angeles, during the artist’s Breezy Bowl XX tour.

Nicole, 33, stepped on stage at SoFi Stadium during Brown’s performance. As he sang his hit “Take You Down,” she sat on a red chair while Brown danced around her. He then gave her an erotic dance that drew plenty of attention from the crowd.

The video quickly spread across social media, bringing Travis Kelce back into the conversation. Fans commented: “Is she trying to make Travis jealous hahaha?” Others argued she just wanted the spotlight after Kelce’s engagement to Taylor Swift, calling her “attention seeker” or saying: “She’s doing everything she can to get her name searched on Google again.”

Another fan wrote: “She looks great, but Travis made the right choice. Not even close.” Meanwhile, one more added: “Travis Kelce dodged a bullet. He leveled up to billionaire status.”

Whether she wants it or not, her name stays tied to Travis Kelce. Will this follow her forever, or will people eventually stop associating her with the Chiefs star? Last year, she admitted how frustrating this was, stating on the Straight to Cam podcast: “People need to start undergoing psychological evaluations before they’re allowed to create new fake Instagram accounts with weird profile pictures.”
