LeBron James knows how to dominate a basketball court—but he also knows how to enjoy summer in style. The NBA’s all-time leading scorer was spotted in St. Tropez with his wife Savannah, Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma, and model Winnie Harlow. The group appeared to be celebrating aboard a luxury yacht, dressed to the nines under the European sun. The image, shared by Harlow on Instagram, quickly made waves online.

But while LeBron James relaxes on the French Riviera, the noise off the water hasn’t stopped. According to the New York Post, his absence from the press conference where the Lakers announced Luka Doncic’s three-year, $165 million extension raised eyebrows. Even though James accepted his $52.6 million player option for the 2025–26 season, rumors about a potential exit from Los Angeles continue to grow.

Choppy waters

LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul, didn’t exactly calm things down. In a statement to ESPN, Paul made it clear that the four-time champion wants to compete for a title and is evaluating what’s best for him at this stage of his career. “LeBron wants to win now,” Paul said, emphasizing that while James understands the Lakers’ long-term vision, his priority is maximizing every season he has left.

At 41 years old, LeBron James is about to enter his 23rd NBA season—a milestone few have reached with his level of impact. He also holds a no-trade clause, giving him full control over his future. And while some have spotted LeBron James training at the Clippers’ old practice facility or even at the Cavaliers’ gym earlier this summer, others wonder if his heart is still in Los Angeles.

What’s clear is that LeBron James hasn’t lost focus. Between parties in southern France and quiet workouts, he remains at the center of the NBA conversation. His legacy is secure, but his next move could reshape the final chapter of a legendary career. So, is this European summer just a break—or the prelude to a decision that could shake the league?.
