Hamilton is still chasing rhythm at Maranello
Hamilton left Mercedes hoping to wrap up his career in style, but so far, Ferrari hasn’t offered the dream package. His lone highlight remains a sprint win in China early in the season, with performance woes continuing since then.
At the British Grand Prix—his home race—Hamilton faced more than just track conditions. He passed through Mercedes’ garage and greeted Bono, his longtime race engineer, like someone visiting family in a city that still feels like home. “There’s still a lot of love there,” Hamilton admitted.
Ferrari still searching for the right formula
Ferrari hasn’t delivered a car that lets Hamilton fight seriously for positions up front. Podium finishes keep slipping away due to tactical misfires, lack of race pace, and moments where Hamilton himself appears visibly frustrated.
Despite it all, Hamilton remains fully professional. He acknowledges that this transition has been “very tough,” particularly because Maranello demands a different kind of rhythm—intense, unpredictable, and sometimes exhausting. Everyone knows Hamilton’s reputation as a precision-driven, cerebral racer. But this season, we’re also seeing something else.

Hamilton is showing vulnerability. He misses Mercedes. He misses the people and the atmosphere that helped forge his legendary status. And yet, the british knows the present demands adaptation, fresh foundations, and maybe—just maybe—a brand new way to win.
The bright side? There’s still plenty of championship left. Hamilton still has time to find his groove, hit full throttle, and push Ferrari back into victory lane.
