Lom Brady admitted that he regretted participating in Netflix’s 2024 roast. Even though he had set certain boundaries that comedians were not supposed to cross, the outcome was not what he expected. Since his divorce from former model Gisele Bündchen, nothing has been the same for him.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion specifically requested that his children remain off-limits. However, the most talked-about topic on the show was his separation—something that didn’t bother him but shocked comedian Andrew Schulz, who later shared his thoughts on the matter.

Tom Brady and his Children

Even though the Netflix special was a massive success, Tom Brady wishes he had turned it down. He revealed this on The Pivot podcast, where he admitted that while he had fun, his participation was not the best decision for his kids.

Regarding this, the Patriots and Buccaneers legend stated: “loved it when the jokes were about me. I thought they were really funny. I didn’t like how it affected my kids. That’s the hardest part—the bittersweet aspect of doing something you think will go one way, and then suddenly realizing, ‘I wouldn’t do that again’ because of how it actually affected the people I care about most in the world.”

In fact, Tom Brady never imagined that the jokes about his divorce would significantly impact his children. Because of this, he will think twice before participating in a similar project in the future.

Andrew Schulz on Brady and Bündchen

Comedian Andrew Schulz shared his thoughts on Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s relationship. On Shannon Sharpe’s Club Chai-Chai podcast, Schulz said:

“That divorce must have been bad because he had no problem with those jokes… He said, ‘Don’t talk about my kids,’ and we were like, ‘Your wife is great?’ and he just went, ‘You know… yeah.’ Tom is the best at handling that. But when Kev kept calling him ‘the karate guy,’ that was killing me.”

Brady’s reference was to Bündchen’s new boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, who was her jiu-jitsu trainer before the divorce. Recently, the couple had a baby, and Schulz commented that Brady might not even care anymore since he has moved on from the relationship.
