The UConn Huskies player continues her strong streak of not losing a Big East game. This season has been no different. This time, her team defeated the Creighton Bluejays, marking the 12th consecutive tournament victory for the institution.

With Paige Bueckers as the main star, UConn secured its 30th conference tournament title. Never before had Division I recorded such a number. During the game, the player recorded 24 points, three assists, eight rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. Her performance was outstanding, making her the first athlete to win the Big East Tournament MVP three times in a row.

This season, Paige Bueckers has averaged 19 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game. Despite having one more year of NCAA eligibility, the athlete has decided she prefers to be chosen as the first overall pick in the draft, which will take place in April.
The UConn team has reached the Final Four in five of the last eight tournaments, but has not won the national championship since 2016. Paige Bueckers takes it lightly and sees it this way: “There is an emphasis on having fun during this last postseason, just enjoying it, just embracing it… I love playing with this team. love playing at UConn. I love playing in these environments.”
