Arch Manning surprised his father and grandfather with the way he gets to campus. He also revealed the reasons why he doesn’t drive his own car. The Texas Longhorns star spent time with them and explained his decision.

It seems that the 19-year-old quarterback is not as skilled at driving as he is on the field. This has led him to accumulate several costly fines. His easiest solution is to avoid driving altogether when going to class.

A fun moment with his family

He shared this through a video posted on his Instagram account. In the clip, he appears with his father, Cooper Manning, and his grandfather, Archie Manning, showing part of his daily life while answering their questions about his transportation in Texas.

Cooper asked Arch Manning why he takes Uber: “Arch, are you taking an Uber to class? Because I noticed you get a lot of parking tickets. You must be driving somewhere.”

The NCAA player, valued at $6.5 million in NIL deals, replied: “Tickets are brutal on campus, so I think Uber is the way to go.” It seems he’s not the best driver and prefers Uber instead of paying the high fines in Texas.

Meanwhile, the quarterback’s grandfather admitted that Arch is not very skilled at driving and supported the idea of using Uber. “I just drove a couple of blocks, but he drives much better than Arch did last night coming from the airport. That was the worst.”

So, the best thing for this young talent is to focus on his preparation to give his best for the Texas Longhorns next season. He’s already a rising star and should prioritize improving his skills on the field rather than worrying about traffic—for now.
