In the world of football, Shedeur Sanders is one of the most talked-about names, especially with the 2025 NFL Draft approaching. The young quarterback consistently draws attention through his media presence and online activity.

This growing spotlight has fueled high expectations for the upcoming NFL season. However, some people find his desire to embrace celebrity status somewhat uncomfortable.

Analysts Tony Grossi and Chopz voiced their concerns on ESPN Cleveland’s YouTube channel. They believe Sanders has been overly visible throughout the 2024 college football season. He even attended the Super Bowl alongside his father, Coach Prime, further amplifying his media presence.

On a podcast, both analysts agreed that they appreciate how Miami star Cam Ward has remained largely invisible compared to Sanders, who frequently appears at events wearing flashy jewelry and granting interviews.

“I’ll say this: One thing I already like about Cam Ward is that he’s staying invisible right now. Shedeur, on the other hand, was on TV every day during Super Bowl week. And look, I found him very likable. He did it, you know, with that massive gold chain hanging around his neck, but I like that Cam Ward is focused and not chasing the celebrity route,” Grossi said.

“It bothers me a little that Shedeur is what Bill Parcells used to call a ‘celebrity quarterback,’ right? Save the celebrity stuff for after you’ve actually accomplished something,” he added.

Chopz noted that media attention is inevitable for Sanders because he is Deion’s son. Both analysts acknowledged that Deion Sanders is simply a proud father supporting his son.
