Olivia “Livvy” Dunne and Paul Skenes experienced a Christmas moment straight out of a romantic comedy. The couple spent part of the weekend in New York City, soaking in the festive atmosphere around the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Social media captured the moment, and it quickly drew widespread attention from their followers.
In a video posted Saturday on TikTok, Dunne lip-synced to “Last Christmas” by Wham! in front of the illuminated tree. Moments later, Skenes appeared, whom Dunne jokingly called her “shoulder to cry on.”
“The tallest shoulder in history,” read the clip shared by the 23-year-old former LSU gymnast and Sports Illustrated model.
Dunne also shared a cozy photo of the couple on her Instagram Story, reinforcing the image of a relationship enjoying a high point. The trip capped an especially busy month for her. She recently added a major milestone by landing the cover of Maxim, starring in the magazine’s Winter 2025 issue.
According to New York Post, in the interview accompanying that cover, Dunne discussed her transition after retiring from gymnastics. She said she began working with an acting coach and explained that while she loves romantic comedies like 1999’s “Notting Hill,” she remains open to other genres. “I can also do cool action stuff,” she told the outlet.

Sporting success and a special year-end
Meanwhile, Paul Skenes is also enjoying a standout stretch. The 23-year-old Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher is coming off a breakout season. In November, he won his first National League Cy Young Award, just one year after earning Rookie of the Year honors. During the 2025 season, he posted a 1.97 ERA, cementing his status as one of the most dominant arms in baseball.
Weeks later, Skenes received a record $3.4 million pre-arbitration payment ahead of this season. According to Associated Press, he will not be eligible for salary arbitration until after the 2026 season.
The couple, who confirmed their relationship in 2023, appears to be savoring every moment together. Between professional achievements and romantic getaways, Dunne and Skenes closed the year with a warm image, surrounded by lights, music, and holiday spirit in the heart of New York City
