Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, broke his silence following his DUI arrest. Through an Instagram story on Thursday, he expressed his gratitude to those who reached out after the incident.

Jordan was arrested in Florida early Tuesday morning. Police found his car stuck on the train tracks. Even though he attempted to move the vehicle with the officers’ help, they focused on his condition, as he showed signs of intoxication.

During the arrest, Marcus Jordan mentioned his father’s name as a way to get out of trouble. However, that had no effect, as officers handcuffed him and placed him in the back of a patrol car. Upon searching him, police found a small bag containing a white powder, which later tested positive for cocaine.

Announces a Change in His Life

Michael Jordan’s 34-year-old son chose not to comment on the DUI incident. In fact, he announced that he is shifting his focus elsewhere. His priority now is his store, The Trophy Room. Therefore, he stated, “I will not be making any comments regarding recent media stories and my personal life.”

“I sincerely appreciate your concerns, and thank you for your kind understanding,” said the ex-husband of Larsa Pippen, daughter of Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan’s longtime teammate and close friend.
